Valentine's Journey Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Journey Blog Hop!  I'm so happy you're hoppin' along!  If you arrived here from Jenny's blog, you're on the right track.  If not, that's ok too!  Just continue the hop and you'll come full circle! Check out my card and at the bottom of this post, you'll find a link to the next one.

This is a very simple card to make...especially with the right tools. I realize that it's a little late to make this for this year's Valentine's Day unless you have the supplies on hand, but think of the possibilities...Easter eggs around an oval, Flowers or Butterflies in a wreath shape, stars around a star for any number of national holidays or celebrations, etc.

I hope you take this card idea and run with it. Leave a comment with your ideas or even your version of the card. The quick instructions are below along with the supply list.

I used a large heart die to trace the heart shape onto the whip cream cardstock using a pencil, punched a bunch of hearts out of the decorative paper and glued them down around the traced heart. I then used Journey Glaze to make little shiny hearts in the punch pieces and added Journey Sparkle Dust to the glaze. Add the ribbon and the words, and that's that.

Supplies Used:

SS-0090 Bot Love Stamp and Die bundle (saying) (Bloom This Way Mini Catalog)
PP-0020 Spring Parade Paper Pack (Bloom This Way Mini Catalog)
TO-0031 Punch Handle
AD-0002 Journey Glaze

Thanks for hopping to my blog.  Please head over to Tami's blog to see what she has to share.

If you get lost, the entire blogroll can be found here at Sue's blog.
