Christmas Cactus

I'm dreaming of a green Christmas....just like the ones I never knew....

Seriously, this weather up here in the U.P. so far has been just fine. The last few years were soooo bitterly cold I could hardly stand it, so just this one year we can do without the cold.

I went to my son's Christmas band concert tonight. We parked pretty far away. I didn't wear a jacket. I DIDN'T freeze. Yippeeee...

Awesome Wreath

I really like how this one turned out. I used a ribbon spool to trace a light circle to follow when stamping the branches inside and outside of the line.

My first Box Card

 

So, I've been wanting to try out a box card and knew that I wanted to do one for my Sister-in-law, Laura. If anyone deserves this much die cutting and arranging, it's the mother of my 5 nephews and 1 niece and wife of my brother (oh boy) :)

 

 

I used three different Fun Stampers Journey stamp sets and die sets. Spring Filled stamp set, Spring Blooms Die set, Tattered Flowers stamp set and die set, and Flower Layers stamp set and die set. Lots of rhinestone bling centers and

Almost Easter!!

Well, it's already almost Easter. This month has flown by...so busy with family matters that sometimes make you think you never even used a brain cell, just had to put it on autopilot. I so look forward to Easter, though.....Good Friday services at church, Easter services, ham dinner with family....they are all so special to me and make me focus on the true meaning of Easter. Not that I don't like bunnies and candy, but I love that Jesus died and rose again for me so that I may be eternally in His presence when I leave this earth.
