It's Good Friday!

 

What a very important day today is. It is like Valentine's Day/Weekend for all who believe. We were given the greatest gift of love...Jesus dying...God sacrificing His Son, all for us to have our unforgivable sins forgiven so that we might live eternally in Heaven when our time comes if we choose to ask forgiveness and give our lives to the Lord. Almost Easter!!

Well, it's already almost Easter. This month has flown by...so busy with family matters that sometimes make you think you never even used a brain cell, just had to put it on autopilot. I so look forward to Easter, though.....Good Friday services at church, Easter services, ham dinner with family....they are all so special to me and make me focus on the true meaning of Easter. Not that I don't like bunnies and candy, but I love that Jesus died and rose again for me so that I may be eternally in His presence when I leave this earth. I hope you enjoy this card and I will be posting a couple more this week if all works out the way I would like it to.

The Chalkboard Look

 

 

This one ended up being sooooo easy but sooooo cute! Black Licorice ink with the Label It ATS stamp and then Whip Cream ink for the saying and butterfly on the top gave it a really cool chalkboard effect. All supplies are Fun Stampers Journey except the ribbon.
